Wuwei&lt;br /&gt;
Zhangye&lt;br /&gt;

It has a temperate monsoon climate with the marked transitional characteristics of a continental climate. The annual temperature range is 4 to 14°C.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Part of the Gobi Desert, which is home to China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, is also located in Gansu province.&lt;br /&gt;
